hi,
this is due to the technology change. for example, from windows 95 16 bit
then move to windows 98/me/2000/XP wish is 32 bit. another problem is, 32
bit system can only support up to 4 gb of memory (RAM) but for the 64 bit
system we can use up to 16 GB of memory (RAM).

hi,
I don't read any documentations but I have a copy of Windows Wista beta
release, I also have jaws 6.20 as well as jaws 7.0. I have try to install
them into a system and try it. The result is, jaws doesn't work well with
it. One major problem is jaws is not a 64 bit program. Windows Wista is a
fully 64 bit operating system (OS) and will work well with 64 bit system
and
64 bit applications. I don't know where you get to read that
documentation,
but one advice from me is, please don't move to Windows Wista yet if you
don't have a compatible 64 bit machine. windows Wista is another
generation
of windows family, is not like windows 2K and Windows XP both are running
on
32 bit system.
When during one interviews at ACB radio, I still remember that the
product
manager of Freedom Scientific says, they will release another version of
jaws for the up coming of Windows Wista.

Allan Wong
