I use Max Registry Cleaner and have had no problems.

I know, that is why I added I never had any problems with it.
On the contrary, ad aware is one thing that made me reinstall the entire
pc, so that thing will never be allowed on any of my computers.that one
cleaned to where nothing worked anymore beyond repair too.

Be real careful with those so called registry cleaners. Some of them will
really take you to the cleaners.
