Re: JAWS basic config and getting started

As I understand it, the Jaws cursor represents the mouse. Is there any way of
tying the Jaws cursor to actual mouse movements so that it will read out all
text it passes over. I know that this sort of feature is probably of not much
use to someone who is not using magnification but if there is no way of doing
it this will make Jaws a non starter for me at work. I suppose that the use of
Magic would bring this functionality but I already have Zoomtext.

I guess it wold be possible to leave Zoomtext speech enabled however turn the
verbosity on it down completely leaving only the mouse over.

Has anyone been able to get anything like this working?

BTW
Thanks for this and other descriptions of how to mute the Tab key . I think it
was because I was missing the step to make the change global that I thought I
wasn't able to get it to work. The answer you need is not always the answer to
the question you asked :(
