Hi, hope someone can help with this. When I go to www.halifax.co.uk online banking and click on Sign In, and then try to enter my log on details, JAWS isn't reading the actual security question such as 'What is your mothers maiden name?'.
Instead it just says something like 'Password edit' or 'secure question'. It used to work fine with JAWS 6.2 and still does if I use that but with JAWS 8 and IE 7 on Vista it doesn't work.
I've tried altering forms mode verbosity settings, and I'm pretty sure it did this with XP as well. I think the problem has been since changing to IE 7 but I can't be sure.
Any help appreciated. Peter ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Grimsby Jr." <jimgrims@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, August 18, 2007 8:34 PM Subject: RE: JAWS and hotmail live
Hi hot mail live works with windowsmail for vista and outlook express for xp. So simply set up outlook express windows mail or better yet outlookitself. Problem solved. For example right now I am using att yahoo on a pop 3 no interface to worry about it just works. I can use it on every computer in the world. If you need to be mobile use pocket outlook it will work withit also. No need to mess with all the web based stuff. Jim Grimsby Jr. skype: Jim.grimsby I say what I mean! I mean what I say! I don't know how long it will take to switch back to MSN live, if it ever wil. but right now I can send attachments and all of that... I still had trouble with navigating inwindows live as wel... and yes, you couldn't read the body of the message to my knowledge, or at least you couldn't go into forms mode and read/edit it.and then there was the mess of trying to work with the pictures... which wouldn't accept my entries right away. hope this helps anyway...
