yes, so far so good, I did have live at one time, even though my addy for chatting is sugarsyl@xxxxxxxx but there was to many advertisements that jaws kept annoying me, so I had someone put me back to messenger, because I like the the tabbing up and down, much more faster and easier for me;however in saying this, not sure if I couldn't handle live because of the way this person installed it for me, and didn't explain anything to me. the only thing that isn't happening for me, is that when I am going to send out my message, jaws isn't reading the sentence to me. but if I arrow back and forth, jaws will read what I just typed, still it was nice to have jaws read back to me, what I just sent sorry, if I don't make any sense, at times I am a bit intimidated to ask questions here, since there is so much more experienced individuals here, and I am, well, you can figure, ..smile still I take all advice to heart and try my best to learn. I am a fast learner, and if you have any idea on what is happening, I would appreciate it. I still feel that it is something simple, I'm just not hearing it. I am and have been talking to a vendor of A T KKratter, and he is not having much luck either. , and now, when I open up my outlook express, it doesn't go straight to the list of e mails, instead it says"nnothing is selected" and opens right in to the e mail, and I have to tab twice to get to my list of e mails:where before the list of e mails was there, no issues, so another thing I think is simple, but because I'm still learning, I just don'[t know where to go to figure it out geesh, wel, Mr. David, thanks for your patience and for your time ~Sugar ----- Original Message ----- From: David To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, January 06, 2011 8:35 AM Subject: Re: JAWS and Windows Messenger hello sugar; wow; version 4.7?messenger? I'm also running JFW 10.0.1139. What has now been happening is that my friend types something in, and JAWS will read it the first time but when I try to use my jaws cursor or other commands, I can't get it to read anything but graphics and the menu bar. It's annoying. I've loaded it on to my Vista machine with JAWS 10. I know.I know, I need to upgrade, and will do that in a while. Anyway, when trying to use it with someone, I couldn't get JAWS to read the messages that I was typing or the messages that my friend was typing to me. I used to use it on a Netbook computer with Windows XP and JAWS 10, but something's different here. Do I need specific scripts or certain commands to use it? It's kind of necessary. Thanks. Jim
