Hey sugar;

did you try the following?

well, if your using windows live 2011,
you need to,

1, open messenger,

2, shift+tab until you hear;
toggle layout button, and press enter.

now, you should be able to see your contact list, online/offline,
and you should be able to read the messages.

and jaws 11, with windows office 2007
  my thing is, jaws will not read me what I've just typed when I sent it. but
it will read it if I arrow right and left, and, or go to the message log, but
usually it'll read the entire sentence after I send it in,any suggestions?
  all muted keys are unchecked and I've done everything I know, which doesn't

    Howdy,

    I just installed Windows Live yesterday, so I'm running that particular
version.

    I'm also running JFW 10.0.1139.

    What has now been happening is that my friend types something in, and JAWS
will read it the first time but when I try to use my jaws cursor or other
commands, I can't get it to read anything but graphics and the menu bar.

    It's annoying.

      Howdy,

      I am needing to use Windows Live Messenger very soon. I've loaded it on
to my Vista machine with JAWS 10. I know.I know, I need to upgrade, and will
do that in a while.

      Anyway, when trying to use it with someone, I couldn't get JAWS to read
the messages that I was typing or the messages that my friend was typing to me.

      I used to use it on a Netbook computer with Windows XP and JAWS 10, but
something's different here.

      Do I need specific scripts or certain commands to use it? It's kind of
necessary.

      Thanks.

      Jim
