I believe I paid about $47 US for this one. It is good but I still
prefer the Soundblaster Live.
Again, the important thing is to set the software flat and eliminate all
of the wonderful things these cards can do, like echo and surround
sound. CYS...

The Turtle Beach Santa Cruz is great and it's only $80 US or so.

Can anyone recommend a sound card that works well with JAWS? I have a
friend who is currently using Sound Blaster Live, and she's switching
due to the problems she's having with it. She can't afford some of the
cards that people are recommending, so she's looking for something under
