Hi Allison,
I entered my serial number and a page came up with information. But, I
didn't see anything containing the version of JAWS. It just gave my serial
number and said there are zero authorizations remaining.
Are the authorizations the same as the number of upgrades available when an
SMA is purchased?

Hi Cindy.
I don't think the upgrade count will reset itself in the about dialog until
you re-authorize Jaws. However, there's another way to make sure the SMA has
gone through. Go to
www.fsactivate.com
Press the "continue product activation button.
The first option on that page is "verify the number of activation keys
available for your Freedom scientific product." When you enter on that link
and fill in your serial number, a page will be generated displaying a lot of
information a table. The portion that you're going to want to look at is the
current version of Jaws for which you have an authorization, for example,
jaws 12.0. If the version number reads something like Jaws 12.0+1 or +2,
then your new SMA has been applied. Please let me know if there's anything
