I was in contact with FS technical support not too long ago and the information I got was that if the video card meets XP's minimum then JAWS can handle it. I paraphrase here of course since I don't have the original email any longer. I have an Nvidea with 128 megabytes of memory on it and it works very well. That round jack might be a S-video port, but I'm not sure about that. I've always heard good things about the Gforce line of video cards. David Ferrin I believe that tomorrow's another day, and I'll probably screw that one up too. personal email address dpf@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steven Hicks" <Steven.Hicks@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, April 21, 2005 9:57 AM Subject: JAWS And Video Cards Hello friends, does anyone know if either of the following video cards are better with JAWS please? 1. NVIDIA GFORCE 4. 2. NVIDIA FX5500. On the NVIDIA FX5500 there is some sort of round port as well as the monitor connector and a cable, does anyone know what this would be for please? Many thanks in anticipation, Steve. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The information in this e-mail and any attachments is confidential and is intended for the attention and use of the named addressee(s).
