Hi there Folks,
this update has messed me up too, jaws 50 was working reasonably well on my
xp home machine, well i have got the scripts back out of the temp folder
that it created when installing the update and all is working well again, i
copied the new msn script files to the old directory first and then put the
old script files back in the main directory and all is working ok again, i
found that some menus stopped speaking, in the list view of explorer it
kept saying blank, when replying to messages in Eudora and i wanted to read
back what I'd written word by word it was saying once again blank! so i
don't like this new update a tall.
on my other computer again running windows xp home, i installed the update
on it's own with out installing jaws 5.0 and that's worse than this one
that has the version 5 pre installed, so all i did was copy all the scripts
from this computer and put them in the other computers settings\enu
directory and now the other computers working fine now

Regards

Chris Cant.
