I had the same problem when trying to update from the Help Menu. Instead of
repairing the installation, I will uninstall the Beta and do a clean install.
I had already downloaded the full installation file before trying the update, a
good thing as it turned out.

Yep, and, I tried to update just now and something went wrong. The JAWS
setup packager refused to install because a file could not be brought in or
something. It suggested a repair on the current installation and try again.

It's official. JAWS 10 has been released to the general public. The latest
build, 512, is available for instalation from the Check for Updates option of
the JAWS 10 Help menu. Once this update is installed, JAWS 10 will run in 40
minute mode unless your SMA authorizes you to reactivate it in full mode. If
you do not plan to continue using JAWS 10 as your main version, remember to
uncheck the "Start JAWS Automatically" box in the JAWS 10 Options Basics dialog
box and recheck it in JAWS 9 or whichever version of JAWS you want to come up
speaking in full mode when you turn on your computer. Otherwise, JAWS 10 will
continue to come up when you turn on your computer, butwill shut off after 40
minutes unless you upgrade your SMA.
