Re: Is the reply directly to sender command in JAWS 11 broken?

There are two simpler ways in Outlook Express. I don't know if they have
equivalents in other email applications. both require that focus be inside the
message.

1. In OE, JAWS enables you to move into each field (to, from, etc.) by pressing
alt plus a number from the keyboard row above the letters. You can stay in that
field by pressing the number twice quickly while the alt key is pressed. To
enter and stay in the "from" field, press alt and then 1 twice quickly. You can
then copy the address with control-a for "select all" and control-c for "copy."

2. The method I use is to press alt-t for tools and arrow once down to "Address
to address book submenu." Press enter, and then down arrow to the address or
field you want. This method adds a new entry to your address book that you may
later choose to delete.

Hi Steve,

What about doing a reply all by hitting control shift r? I'm currently using
Jaws 10 as my authorized version, but thought I'd throw out the idea, as I
often have the same issue you're having. At least when I do a reply all, the
list address will show up in my "to" field somewhere, and then I can just
select and delete any other addresses I don't want the message to go to. Rather
annoying, but I've found it to be a usable work-around.

Hope this helps, Kim
