It's Word. Go to Options, General, and uncheck feedback with sound. Something very odd has started in Word XP. Whenever I open, save or do many other commands within Word I hear some very strange sounds, as if somebody has added audio information, little hums, buzzes, a door closing upon a save, they all sound intentional, but I do not want them and cannot figure if JFW is causing something to happen of I fat fingered something and cannot figure it out. Thanks for any thoughts, Dan -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/ Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.com JFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
