David, I tried to do what you said, and for some reason, the player is telling 
me that it will resume once Internet Explorer has been closed.  Problem is, 
that I have it closed.  And the installer just sits there.

    Hi folks!  Looks like I have disabled the reading of flash content on web 
pages, even though, when I look in my jaws settings I see where it says Ignore 
Flash on Web Pages, and the box is not checked.  Anything else I need to look 
for?  Also, how is a blind user supposed to get the latest version of flash 
player?  Thanks!
