Forgive me if this has already been hashed out, but I was behind by over 5,000 messages and bailed after scanning 2,000 of them. I managed to create an indent speech/sound scheme which will simply announce the number of spaces '1', '2', etc. This is essential information for Java source code editing when working with sighted co-workers. The scheme works with my source code editor just fine. While working with the indent scheme, I noticed some points of confusion: - though I seem to be able to have a scheme tied to an application (my source editor) via the configuration manager, JAWS does not seem to re-load the default scheme when I close my editor and return to Outlook 2K. - If I load the scheme while in either MS Outlook 2K or MS Word 2K, JAWS seems to not notice the indent level of my email or word document. I verified Word was set to Normal view. I tried the canned Indent (2 spaces) scheme with the same result; no indent information provided. Any assistance in reducing my level of confusion is, as always, much appreciated...
