Hi,

That's what I'm assuming he meant, the resulting output of the build
process. This is where the source code is compiled into the respective
object-modules, and then linked in with any external dependancies to create
an executable binary (.exe) file, unless you're creating a static library
(.lib) or dynamic library (.dll).

However, I say "assuming" as what Matthew meant really depends on his
ontology. An ontology is a set of mappings between some sort of physical
representation, in this case the word "build", and what is meant by it.
Matthew may have intended to convey meaning other than that which we are
discussing. So, the only person who can really clarify what was the
intended semantic meaning of "build", is Matthew himself.
