Sometimes when I enter on a link and it is blocked, I just route my JAWS
cursor to the link, hold the shift key and then click the left mous button.
By doing this the page usually opens up.

Subject: IE Information Bar, Pop-up Blocker and JFW5.1
Hi All.
Okay, as I've mentioned here before, just got a new computer...In IE
explorer, there's now a pop-up blocker, though that may have come from my
ISP, Comcast. In the FAQ, it says I can unblock popups from websites by
clicking in the Information bar, which is supposed to be below the address
bar. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find it, nor a way to use it with JFW
5.1.
also, (sort of Off-topic) why is it that when I click "Turn Off Popup
Blocker" in the Tools menu, it still blocks the popups? Don't get me
wrong; I don't want ads and all that garbage...But Comcast's website seems
to use popups when you click on certain links, and instead of opening a
new browser windo, it just says "A popup was blocked"...Same with the
"Open Link in New Window" link in Yahoo!'s search results. In order to
open these links, I have to use shift+enter instead of just hitting the
"enter" button. It doesn't seem to matter if I turn off the popup
blocker, add domain names to the approved list, or even set its block
level to "Low".
Any suggestions? Thanks.
