So far as I'm aware, no for your first question, and definitely not for your
second one. Not enough people are using IE 8 yet for there to be any
established known issues, though I'm sure as it gets rolled out, that'll
change. As for versions of JAWS that are compatible, if he can, he should
upgrade to at the *very* least JAWS 9. IE 7 or 8 won't work with anything
below that, to my knowledge.

I'm using JAWS 10 and just got a notice that updates are available for my
computer. The only update is IE 8. Are there any issues with IE 8 and JAWS
10, which I should know about?
Also, another question about IE 8. My neighbor is also blind and uses JAWS,
but I believe he has a pretty old version, something like 6. Will IE 8 work
with a version of JAWS this old?
