MessageThe bar that sometimes appears below the addres bar is the 'Navigation
Bar'. I know you said it wasn't there, but thought I'd just let people know how
to access it using keystrokes as I kept getting sighted asistance for this.
Press ALT + N, it will then tell you what it is trying to do. Press SPACE BAR
and this brings up a submenu. Usualy the top option is the one you are trying
to do, such as 'Download File' or 'Install ActiveX'.
HTH. I hope nobody minds all my emails to the group, I don't want to over do it
and annoy anyone. I just know how frustrating it is to do something and have to
get sighted assistance for everything.

Subject: IE 6
Hello All,
I am having a problem. when I go to the windows update site I get a screen
saying I have to install the active X controls and the button or toolbar is
located directly beneath the address bar, however, with sighted help, I have
discovered that there is nothing below the address bar.
The same sighted tech told me that if I ran my oldest JFW CD, which is, JFW
4.5, and hit shift while it tries to run, I should be able to find IE 6 on the
disc and be able to repair it. I have had no success with this and need your
help. How can I repair IE 6?
Take care,
John
