It works for me no problem, I don't have half the problems you seem to with 
jaws, maybe your "other product" is causing a problem with jaws, if you 
don't like jaws so much why do you use it?  do you just like to complain or 
something? Have you  tried doing a repair on jaws yet? I'm not having the 
same problem you are and tried it on 2 computers now so it's apparently not 
a general problem with jfw.
