Hello!, can someone please! try and explain why Jaws behaves the way it does!
I've noticing this behavior happening more and more. I just tried to go to
www.fox.com. For some reason Jaws was very very very nonresponsive. It would
take a long long long long time when pressing the down arrow keys for jaws to
go down the next line. Why is this happening on certain webpages. Then Jaws
just froze. This time I couldn't even unload jaws to reload jaws. Sometimes I
will be reading e-mail, I will click on a link, and jaws will just freeze.
Sometimes I can unload jaws and reload jaws and it will work fine, but why
should I have to keep doing this. This gets me so frustrated. The other screen
reader doesn't freeze up so this tells me it is a Jaws issues. Using jaws 5.1
windows xp. I don't any other programs running in the background. At times I
just want to smash all the jaws disks and my laptop. There has to be something
about this stupid jaws program that it acts this way, and why freedomscientific
doeosn't do a better job with their overpriced product. The times jaws goes
really really really slow on a webpage, if I am able to unload jaws I can load
the other screen reader, and it acts just fine on the webpage.
