Hi,
I went into Windows Explorer and went to one of my word documents and clicked
the right mouse button. I went to property. I then turned the JAWS cursor on
and tab to the readonly check box and pressed the space bar. It worked.
I have the same version of Windows and JFW that you have. However, I believe
that we have Word 2003 now.

I am using JFW 7, Windows XP and MS Word 2002. I have created a document
and want to save it as a read only file so it is not lost or corrupted. For
the life of me, I cannot figure out how to do it. When I go into
properties, I can get to read only with the jaws cursor, but cannot figure
out how to check it. Any assistance would be appreciated.
