How does one check install history?

Hiya list,

Had a strange thing with an automatic windows update here this morning which 
Jaws read to me as an update but in the update listbox said"Jaws application 
error file please send report"

So far everything is still ok after doing this update but where can I go too in 
my windows XP home to check the last thing that was installed on my PC? and 
what are the steps to hear this infomation as am curious what the heck was 
installed now.
