David,
Using the script installation instructions you sent, do I have to unzip the
scripts before pasting them in the Explore my settings folder or does windows
do that some where along the way for me? Thanks for the instructions.
  Brian

Installing Scripts with Windows XP Using XP's Unzipping Utility

For Scripts for Jaws 6 or above:

  1. If you have not already, please down load the script file to your
computer.
  2. Find the script file on your computer and hit enter on it.
  3. It should bring up a separate window listing the files contained in the
zip file. You should be able to arrow up and down within this list of files.
  4. Hit control+A to select all items in this list.
  5. Hit control+C to copy the list of files to the clip board.
  6. Hit the windows key for your start menu, Hit P for all programs.
  7. Hit J until you hear the current version of Jaws you are running, hit
enter.
  8. You should hear, explore Jaws submenu, hit enter.
  9. You should hear, explore my settings, hit enter.
  10. This will open up a window, which is the directory where Jaws scripts
should be put. It should tell you the name of the first item in the list and
that it is not selected. You want it not selected! So if you accidentally
hit a key which will select the item, then just hit F5 to unselect the item.
  11. Hit control +V to paste the script files into the necessary directory.
  12. Your done! Now you have at least two windows open, hit alt+F4 to close
out of each window.
