Host Explorer

Good Evening,

My employer has me running the new version of Host Explorer, which is a
Hummingbird application that acts as a 3270 emulator. The version I'm
running is 2008, and I'm running into a few problems with JAWS that I didn't
see with the older version of Host Explorer.

The primary problem seems to be that while Host Explorer is active, it
randomly repeats certain snippets from other screens. It doesn't do this
with Outlook or Internet Explorer 6.0, but it does do this with Windows
Explorer and with Siebel. (Siebel has a scrolling message bar at the bottom
of the screen; I might be able to find a way to silence this, but it didn't
cause problems with the old version of Host Explorer). As soon as I close
Siebel or Windows Explorer this repetition stops, but there are definitely
times when I'll need to have both open.

If anyone has any thoughts or things to try to bring Host Explorer in line,
I'd appreciate them.

Thanks.

Lora
