Hello Gerry, thank you so much for writing. It means a lot to me. You know
when we were on JFWLite together, all of us were so much more than just list
members, we became people who cared about each other. Thank you for caring
and your best wishes and I wish only the best for you also.
Debbie

Hello Debbie:

I was so happy to hear Debbie Scales sent a message to the group. You will
never know how much you have been missed. It has not only been your help,
but your cheerful attitude. We have been very concerned about you.

I wish a remarkable recovery, and better times in the future.

Your friend, Gerry Meeker

Hi everyone, this is Debbie Scales, many of you will remember me, I used to
run the JFWLite group and I also consider you many of you my very good
friend, smile. Well first just a quick update. To make a very long story
short, last summer I ended up in the hospital for 3 months and the result of
everything that happened was that I had to have my right kidney removed.
Even though I have had a pancreas transplant, and am no longer diabetic,
after 20 years of diabetes before the transplant, one kidney wouldn't cut it
and I had to start dialysis immediately. I am lucky enough that my husband
and I (after training) are now doing home hemodialyis, which means I don't
have to go to a center three times a week, which I hated! Things were going
well, then I got a severe infection, and I'm really struggling to recover
from it still. So anyway....the reason I am writing is because that I
realize JFWLite has seriously not been kept updated for a very long time. I
really don't have the energy to go through all the programs to figure out
what needs updated and what doesn't, but if you want to write me with the
changes you would like to see, I will slowly work on getting it updated at
least. If you write to me, please understand if I am slow to respond, I
have not been on the computer for a very long time and I certainly don't
check my email 24 hours a day the way I used to, ha ha. If you could
remember to put JFWLite in the subject line I would appreciate it so it
would filter to my jfwlite folder. I hope that everyone is doing well.
Debbie Scales
