Here here! I too hate the ribbon bar, but jaws does what it should do. It reads the menus and options as they are. Finding what you are use to seeing is the problem and that lies squarely in Microsoft's lap. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Caroline Sent: Monday, June 09, 2008 9:36 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Hello Jaws, meet Word07. Who's that? And, the thing is, there's a big difference between true inaccessibility and just plain change. I don't like Word 2007, plain and simple. However, it's not due to inaccessibility, it's due to the fact that I've been using Word since the 1997 version, and I'm used to my options being where I think they should be. But, this has absolutely nothing to do with JAWS. I have a program that I purchased for $30 that gives me back my 2003 menu options, yet still gives me the ribbon, so I've got the best of both worlds so to speak. But, inaccessibility and unfamiliarity are just two different things.
