Look again -- it will be there. If you want it global, then first Press
Ctrl+Shift+D when you first open the settings center.

Thank you,
But I looked through all the boxes that were in the settings place and there
was nothing that sounded like that.
Is there a way to make this setting universal to all my computer?
Thank you,
Brandon Keith

Brandon,
In the Settings Center (or Configuration Manager) for MS-Config, look for
this:
Text Processing/General/Say Item State First
Select this check box to have the selected state of an item in a list box
spoken before the name of the item is spoken. For example, JAWS says, "Not
Selected, My Documents," instead of, "My Documents, Not Selected." This
check box is selected by default.
See if that helps.

Hello,
I'm trying to go through msconfig and jaws is reading the mile-long word
before it tells me if the item is checked.
Is there any way to have Jaws say if items are checked before the name, so
I don't have to waste 6 hours of my life trying to go through msconfig?
Thanks,
Brandon Keith
