Since most new micros use XP memory is a very important consideration.
It is my opinion that 512 meg is the absolute minimum you need to keep
everything running and JAWS speaking. Almost any new lap top, note book
or whatever will have a fast enough CPU to carry the freight. With some
lap tops watch out for disk rotation speed. A number use the 4,500 rpm
speed and not the 7,200 rpm speed. This could slow down the works.

I've heard fs tell lots of people with these jaws problems of it not
speaking right that their resources are too low for the version, so
check that. I gotta feeling that they are gonna have to make a patch for
those of you who are having difficulty. Troy
