The idea of "open source" is a good one. But, Linux did the same thing and
now there a number of Linux languages. Google may fall into the same trap.
However, they may need to do things, inasmuch as source code is concerned,
to avoid breeching contracts.

As far as I'm concerned, IE 8, with its security enhancements, works well
enough with JAWS, that I can't see any reason to bother with Chrome. If I
need image capture capability, I can always launch Firefox. As long as IE
comes packaged with Windows and as long as Windows remains the dominant OS,,
Chrome will have a difficult time gaining market share.
