Jack, I was told to set the colors to 32. The thing is that I've always had
it set that way with no problems.

now that's strange. I have mine set to check for messages and it never
causes any problems. Did they by any chance have you check your display
settings? Jaws 6.0 works best if the display settings are at 1024/768 with
the colors set to 16 bpb. There are other settings that really make Jaws
run better. Jack
