I've never had any problem using the basic HTML. Now, if you need to change your settings, you do need to turn on the standard HTML and that can be a bit tricky, but even that's doable. I've done it more than once with no trouble. Take care. -- Julie Morales Email & Windows/MSN Messenger: mercy421@xxxxxxxxxxx http://juliemorales.avonrepresentative.com/ Currently in Winchester Regional, Virginia Mostly Cloudy, 46F°(8C°) Wind:SW (230°) at 5mph (4KT) Everybody lies, but it doesn't matter since nobody listens. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Siobhan" <littlesailorgirl@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, December 18, 2006 9:38 PM Subject: Re: Gmail and JAWS Hi Alicia, forgive the spelling of your name. I've used gmail and it's not very accessible if you're not willing to fight with it a little. I have to click on basic html, which in theory should let you use the page like the old Internet but for me, I used the virtual cursor off, to check it, delete stuff, things of that nature. If others have ha better luck, well go for it. I do know it's possible to forward google to your home address for instance. I am interested in using it for school and private use, because I can access it anywhere, but I want it to be useable with JAWS so I can access it. I have not had any good luck with Yahoo Mail so decided I might try this one out. I would be interested in any feedback about the gmail services and the accessibility with JAWS.
