Well, it depends again on who you talk to. I've heard the horror stories as
well, but I also know that it might be different for yourself, so don't let
tht stop you from at least giving it a shot. :) That's what I do, and it's
so far served me quite well. Mark

I've been on this list since forever and every time a new version of jaws
comes out the horror stories abound! I got jaws 7 right before jaws 8
came out. Granted, I am not the tecky that many of the people on this
list are, but getting a new version of jaws is not the plesure it should
be. Judith

Is it just me, or do the rest of you find it a nightmare getting used to
new versions of JAWS? I just installed version 9, but I can't page down
and get to where I would have been when I was using JAWS 7 or 8. Also,
the display seems to be different, as the ctrl+downarrow either skips
over a lot of what used to be blank lines or there seem to be more blank
lines depending on what webpage I'm on. Even so, I'm considering
deleting previous versions so that I'll be forced to get used to this new
monstrosity. Sorry this really isn't a technical question, just wanting
to know others' experiences in upgrading and getting used to differences
between versions.
