Good evening,

A representative from Intuit was in contact with me today by e-mail and
expressed interest in making their applications more accessible.  I don't
know what this will turn into, or how long it will take to proceed.
In the mean time, if there is enough interest, I would be willing to script Quickbooks. There would have to be a considerable amount of interest though 
in order for it to be worth my time to script the application.

Gary, I wish I could help. I don't have Quickbooks or free time to develop 
scripts for it at this time. I'm Curoios though, how accessible is it out
of
the box? Many of us use Quicken and the scripts aren't bad but Intuit has
the nasty habit of changing their interface and breaking things in the
process. Intuit doesn't seem committed to supporting its products even
though they have sent some of their employees to Freedom Scientific for
scripting. If you do get a set of scripts working I'd be glad to pay a
reasonable amount for them if I get quickbooks.

Hello to the jaws scripting this is gary. I am a experienced user of JAWS, 
but new to the list. I am trying to get my hands around scripting to get
to
grips with being able to script quickbooks. Before I start the project I
would like to know if there  are any in development or if there  are any
that are already out there  so  wont have to reinvent the wheel and
create
something that has already been created but not mentioned any where. So if 
I
could get feedback to this question it would bebe really appreciated. I am 
an accountant by profession and the fact that I am blind  and that I hav
the
business and I am getting clients that are needing quickbooks service and 
support and being a JAWS user, and I have gotten fed up with asking
freedom
Scientific about it so I have decided to do something about it so I don't
lose an oppurtunity that has opened  up to me and if I have to learn
scripting and create scritps  that is what I will hav to do in order to
keep
my practice and to keep it growing successfully. Thanks for any assistance 
to the matter.
