Johnnie Apple Seed ----- Original Message ----- From: "Cody Hurst" <codyhurst@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <VICUG-L@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, October 10, 2004 7:26 PM Subject: [VICUG-L] please do not use pal talk I know all of you out there use n instant message program. There is aim which works good with jaws, and mns which works pretty good with jaws, and then there id tal talk which works good with jaws, but what makes pal talk so incredibly horrible is the spyware, ads, and junk that come with it, and the worst thing about it is that it depends on IE! and if you have netsaphobia, you really should use your brain and not use IE, it puts a lot of junk on your pc. I have reformatted twice because ads, spyware, and the only to stop them is to pay them $40 a month! That is a ripoff! I love my pc just as much as most of you, if not all of you, do, so please take care of it!!!! and even thoughyou may run a spyware catching program pal talk will still win. and trust me. but even though if you stop 'em ads, remembe that it still relies on IE to operate correctly. and the file 'BtHook.dll' is the file, supposedly, that has the spyware and ads, but i tried deleting it, but it is still there!
