Read again the phrase that was quoted via Eric Damery.

That sounds like a hesitation of doing anything that would benefit both
companies.

We didn't see FS doing this with Dec Talk USB.  Yes, it did take a while for
those to come out, but they didn't hesitate supporting the synthesizer.

Just guessing here, but could it be that they support the top selling models
and not the lesser ones? That would make sense to me.
