Not sure why you would want to work with the unprotected file unless you're editing it. The form will work as intended if it is protected. As you tab, the field prompts should be read, if the form is properly constructed. If you tab in an unprotected form, you'll add a tab stop to the text. Cher >>> "David MacDonald" <befree@xxxxxxxx> 6/12/2007 8:29 AM >>> I'm struggling with reading forms in Microsoft Word. I have a few questions. 1. In JFW 5.1 does anybody else have issues with inconsistent behavior. Sometimes it reads OK sometimes it doesn't? 2. Is there a way to read headings and list them in MS Word using JAWS 5.1? 3. In the Help files for keystrokes there are only three commands listed for navigating Forms (list forms, Move focus to first form field, and read form contents) I'd appreciate any tips tricks for reading forms both in protected and unprotected mode. Thanks a lot.
