Mike, I tried running Jaws 11 in default mode from the start menu, Forms mode works as it is supposed too; makes the sound I have set for the purpose and says; "forms mode on" Tom ----- Original Message ----- From: Mike & Barbara To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, March 30, 2010 5:48 AM Subject: Re: Forms Mode Hi Tom; After reading your email I tried Jaws11 forms mode / sounds and it doesn't work the same in Jaws11 as in Jaws10. On the same website Jaws10 will open the forms / edit fields I need it to open but, using Jaws11 it will open entirely different forms / edit fields than Jaws10 does using the same settings. I did get sounds to work in Jaws11 but, I am going to turn auto forms mode off since it isn't working the way it does in Jaws10. I misspoke, I don't have autoforms mode turned on in the configuration manager. I am running forms mode on in personalized settings with IE8 for both 10 & 11 on the same websites but, they still work differently than one another. I am going to play around with it more when I have more time and let you know if I find something that helps. Take care. Mike, It's tax time! Remember folks, if you add, IRS to the word, the, you get "T H E I R S ". So it must be something I did in the Jaws configuration settings. If " sounds " is turned off under Forms Mode there that could explain why your sounds aren't working for opening & closing forms / edit fields. Hope this helps. Take care. Mike, It's tax time!
