Jerry, Thanks to you, too. I knew this once, and used to practice it just for fun. But as I never use it, and it's got that anomalous Windows key in the key combination, I forgot. ----- Original Message ----- From: "G.W. Then to tack on things use Windows key C. For each of the latter Jaws will say "appended." ----- Original Message ----- From: "Yardbird" <yardbird@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: "JFW List" <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 25, 2007 10:19 AM Subject: Forgot Windows multiple copy keystroke Hi, Although I've always thought the feature where you can pile up copied items in a special clipboard was very clever, I seldom have any need to use it. This morning, I finally encountered a situation where it would be a real convenience, and realized I'd forgotten the keystroke. I went into Jaws Help and found what I thought was it, although it sounded wrong. Insert C, it said. that's what I use to read a word in context during spell check. I tried it anyway after selecting some text, and sure enough, Jaws said "word in context not found." So what is this keystroke? anybody remember? First you press the Windows command Control C to copy the first item, and then you press what to copy additional items without overwriting the first item? Thanks a lot. -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/ Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.com JFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
