Not two files, but two applications, by which I meant Java itself and Java
Access Bridge.

Hi, and thanks. You mention two files--what is the other?

Here's the Sun Java page with a description of Access Bridge and links for
downloading current version 2.0.1:

  http://java.sun.com/products/accessbridge/

Note. I didn't bother with the special Sun download manager, as recommended
on that page. I just clicked on the Access Bridge link itself, saved to my
desktop, and then let the application's wizard take over. It's a very smooth
process.

When you download the Access Bridge file, keep it to reinstall after future
Java updates. It will save you from figuring out the website every time.

As you'll see, the filename is accessbridge-2_0_1.exe.

Access Bridge works in the background. Once installed, and after you've
installed Java Access Bridge over it, you let it sit until the next time it's
updated. What the two applications do, working in tandem, is make certain
complex websites accessible, such as those with lots of media content.

  Hi, and thanks.

Who puts it out and how do I get it?

With my machine, it made the difference between my being able to use Firefox
at all and not at all. The reason was that without Access Bridge, Firefox would
crash on me when ever I went to open a secure page over at Amazon. Certain
other secure pages would crash. For example: www.dominos.com would crash
Firefox every single time I tried to add an order to my shopping card there.
With Access Bridge, this behavior ceased. that's why I recommended it.

Access Bridge? That's a new one for me. Is it necessary to go along with
Firefox?

Also, this online audio stream is not my starter page either.

  Thanks.

The only thing I can guess is this. Somehow, Firefox got the idea that your
last browsing session terminated incorrectly and so, when you reopened it, it
jumped right back to the last page on which you were. The thing I'm wondering
is whether you have installed Access Bridge or not. You might give that a go.
The thing to remember with Access Bridge is this. When ever you accept a new
Java update, you'll need to re-install Access Bridge. Why? I'm not sure; but,
there it is.

  HTH.

PS. That's the only thing I can think of for now. I didn't think that live365
was still around.

  Hello again from Judy.

I'm new to Firefox and really enjoy it, but a strange thing happened I'm sure
someone can help me with.

First, I had gone to an internet radio site for a few minutes, closed that
out, went about some other chores away from the computer.

The next site I went to was netflix. I typed in the Netflix address. The page
came up, as usual, but the audio from the last internet radio site started to
play. This is a live365 site, so has its own player. Nothing appeared in the
task bar, nothing else in the system tray, yet live365 audio was playing with
my netflix page pulled up.

How to keep this from happening.

  Thanks.

  Judy
