I apologize, I tested with JAWS 10 instead of JAWS 9.
In JAWS 10 Control + F brings up the JAWS Find dialog, whereas in JAWS 9 it
does not. You can easily resolve this by.
1. Remembering to use JAWSKey + Control + F.
Or,
2. Using the Keyboard Manager to bind Control + F to the JAWS Find command
for Firefox.

I've got Firefox 3.0.4 and I too find Control + F doesn't work. If I do
Control + Insert + F, to get the JAWS find dialogue, that does work. I
think in Internet Explorer when you press Control + F, the JAWS find
takes over from the Internet Explorer one. In Firefox it doesn't - at
least, not in the version I have.

I downloaded FireFox yesterday and all is fine except for one thing.
The search feature, control+f, doesn't seem to work with FireFox.
When I press that key combination, it will allow me to type in the text
