Hi George,

To find the size of a file or a folder, press alt v to pull down the View Menu. Then, press d for Details. Now if you have your cursor on the file or folder, just press Insert 8 on the Number Pad and JAWS will read all of the details about that file or folder, including its size.

   Hope this helps,

   Don

Subject: File size?

How can I find the size of a file, or even the size of an entire directory
of files under XP home edition? I want to create some CDs, and need to
know, in advance, how large the files and directories of files are so I can
fit them onto single discs. Thanks
