If you have you Windows Explorer set to View Details, the file list
includes the file size which you can read using Jawskey Up arrow or use
Jawskey PageDown whilst positioned on a file in the list. To total up
the size of files in a folder, select all the files using Control a,
then pres Jawskey PageDown to see how may objects there are and the
total size of the objects selected.

How can I find the size of a file, or even the size of an entire
directory
of files under XP home edition? I want to create some CDs, and need to
know, in advance, how large the files and directories of files are so I

fit them onto single discs. Thanks
