Thanks so much. I have now tried them. However, I don't think you can access any apps, such as quizzes, gifts, etc. But the sites are definitely easier to navigate.

Judy, have you tried the two alternatives to the full site? One is Facebook mobile and is optimized for smart phones and other similar devices: 
http://m.facebook.com
and in between the mobile version and full version, there is Facebook Lite: 
http://lite.facebook.com.
I tend to use the full site until I run into a problem, at which time I switch to either Facebook Lite or Facebook Mobile.
