Jana, you were right, I had a mistake in my formula!
All is well now. Thank you so very much.

  Dear Robbie,

Once I've typed in the formula, if I arrow away fro mthat cell and then back
into it, JAWS says, for example, "55, has formula," where 55 is the sum of the
cells in my formula. Doing insert-F5 also repeats the information in the cell.
If this is not working for you, are you sure the formula is typed in exactly?
There are no spaces within the formula.

  Hope this helps,
  Jana

Jana, jfw reads the formula, but not the results.
How can I get the results?
  Thanks.

    Hi,

    A sample formula would be:

    =sum(c2:c50)

Written out: equals sign sum left parentheses c2 colon c50 right
parentheses

In this example, you are summing column C, rows 2 through 50.

To read (and edit) a formula that is in a cell, press F2. When you are
done reading or editing the formula, press enter.

    Hope this helps.

    Jana
