Hi Perry,

Assuming that the chart is on the sheet where the data is, then to edit one of 
the titles:

1. Select the chart using the select an object dialog (ctrl+shift+o).

2. Move to either the Layout or the Format tab of the ribbon. The first control 
for both these tabs is a chart elements edit combo box. Arrow down to one of 
the titles and press enter, to select it.

3. Press f2 to edit, type in a new title, and then press enter.

I am looking for a method to edit chart elements in Excel 2007.  I would 
like to know how to edit the chart title and axis titles (labels).  Thanks
