Re: Emails

Hi Peter,

This just began happening to me when I installed jaws 8, along with such a
long list of other misbehaviors that I've taken the time to catalogue them
in a message I'm planning to send to FS. Jaws 8 may behave acceptably for
some people, but on my system it's really a pain, and this is only one of
its problems.

anyway, you don't have to be misled now that you know it happens. By the
way, it does that when I delete a file in some folder of windows explorer,
too. So there's something generic or global about how this works. Or doesn't
work, as it were.

the best solution is just to stay alert and use your Say Line (Insert 8)
command to be sure of what's really there after doing a deletion. You'll
see. Once checking like this becomes second nature to you, you'll be okay, I
mean safe, even though inconvenienced.

Subject: Emails

Does anybody find that JAWS 7 and 8 read an email behind when doing certain
actions in Outlook Express. For example, if you are in your list of emails,
and delete one, it says the same email info again as if there were two
copies, when in fact your on the next one down. I've deleted a couple of
emails wrongly this way because for some reason, I seem to get all my yahoo
emails twice.

Peter
