I prefer the way the real speak voices sound much more than eloquence, but at least right now, with the sluggishness and choppiness I can't see how they can be used for more than short periods at a time. I'm still trying to figure out the dictionary manager and different language settings for certain words and so on too. I'm trying to get certain words spoken in their corresponding languages like before and it's just not happening. I've got to play with it a little more I suppose. I wonder if the real speak voices are a beta version too or if they're a one shot deal and what we've downloaded is the best they'll be? I sort of was led to believe hearing the pod cast they were designed to perhaps replace the eloquence synthesizer some day. I am choosing not to use them because of their sluggishness. Even the nuance SAPI 5 voices seem to be to me more responsive. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Hallsworth" <christopherhallsworth71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 26, 2008 2:36 AM Subject: Early Impressions of the New JAWS 10 > Hi all, I wish to tell you my early impressions of JAWS 10.
