If I recall correctly, I believe I did this through my accounts page. Note: you will need your password to log into your account. I also am quite certain there is an option for a one-time exemption when downloading or even a permanent exemption for that matter from a given site. I can usually find this with the Jaws cursor though I believe there has been a time or two when sighted assistance was required. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jim Talley To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, July 01, 2006 5:12 PM Subject: Fw: Disabling McAfee firewall Jim Talley (Coordinator) ASSISTIVE ASSOCIATES ----- Original Message ----- From: Jim Talley To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, July 01, 2006 5:44 PM Subject: Disabling McAfee firewall Hi Listers, I recently tried to download Jaws 7.1 but McAfee stopped on the install stage, and locked up the computer. the only thing I can think of is Disabling the McAfee firewall while downloading.
