There are several little things you'll appreciate using 8 in a work
environment. As I told this list, JFW crashes while using Web-based
applications drove me up a wall; now they're gone. Table reading in
Word with the new voices shows marked improvement. The extra voices can
even come in handy for Acrobat Reader, although you'll probably want to
switch back and forth between "Read Out Loud" and regular JFW, depending
upon the circumstances.

To those who have discussed AR 8, after two days I've really gotten to
like it, and will probably remove 7 within the next few days. Working
with that long manual allowed me to really road test its ergonomics,
especially its page handling capability, and it's a keeper.

Hi there,
I also installed both and I use it a lot
these days. If you are going to use Windows
Vista, you'll need JAWS 8.0 since 8.0 has
updated code that supports AERO interface in
Vista (need confirmation, of course).
